Magic Day 19th September 2021

dalektr7

It’s finally here; Magic Day is this Sunday.

As far as timings go for the members, briefing is still at 10am.

Please remember to bring cash for the rides and paddock based activities, as we are unable to take card payments.  Pricing will be from £1.50 per ride (signs will be displayed on the day) and all money raised will go to Teenage Cancer Trust.

To ensure that we continue to keep everyone safe during these Covid times, our normal precautions (Covid-19 Processes) naturally apply on Magic Day. You will need to continue to bring masks and hand sanitiser with you.

Any volunteers will be most welcome from 8am to help with the extra set-up required.  Our guest cars will be arriving from 08:30am, so assistance with guiding them to the ‘guest car’ parking area would be appreciated.

We will have our familiar Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT) fundraising auction at lunchtime.  Please click here to see the awesome items up for grabs!

Whilst we welcome ungraded members and visitors on Magic Day, please remember that you must be graded (i.e. 5 or higher) to drive at Castle Combe.  If  you are graded then you can still drive as you would on a normal club meeting – just in the presence of some very interesting vehicles that you will be able to ride in.  For the higher grade members you may be lucky enough to drive some of the guest vehicles too!  However, please understand that this is purely at the discretion of the vehicle owners, and particularly if this is their first experience of our club, they may not be willing to pass over the keys to their pride and joy.

As stated on page 4 of the Associates ManualClub and Grade identification
Your Member must display a U17 Car Club car sticker in the front windscreen of your car and the grade identifier badge on the rear of the car.  It must be the grade identifier badge applicable to the Member driving at the time.  The Grade badge colours are listed in the Members Manual.  Therefore, if you are bringing a different car from normal, please ensure that you have a windscreen sticker fitted.  Thanks.

Magic Day is one of the highlights of our calendar, so let’s hope for good weather, so that we can all have a great day and raise lots of money for TCT!

Location: SN14 7EY.

Well done Nigel for pulling this all together!
