26th & 27th June saw us return to Seighford for our first events there this season. Seighford is an incredibly flexible venue with a large tarmac runway area, access roads and a 350m long “handling circuit”.
On Saturday, Rob & Tom arrived early to get the circuit prepared for a Motorway Driving session. 13 Grade 3, 2, 1 and X Members used this opportunity to undertake Motorway Driving training. If you need to attend but missed this one -there’ll be another later in the season, don’t worry.
Thanks to all those that helped set up and close down on both days – we had around 30 members attend Sunday’s normal driving event and 10 take part in Advanced Driving. A later finish than a usual Car Club day, as everyone was having such a great time we were still on site after 5.30pm!
Next meeting at Seighford is on 11th July. We hope to see you there…
