SUMMARY:Motorway Driving
DESCRIPTION:Motorway Driving offers a unique opportunity for members to experience motorway style driving at Lyneham or Seighford. The setup is specially designed to cater for three lanes of moving traffic\, with on and off slip road lanes providing very realistic situations of traffic exiting the main road and blending back into moving traffic. \nThe day will include high-speed driving\, emergency braking\, high-speed slaloms\, as well as brake and avoid and why mobile phones should not be used. Associates will be encouraged to take part too\, so hopefully\, the day will be informative to both members and associates. Please watch this short video about texting and driving\, something we will graphically demonstrate during the day’s activities. \nBoth associates and members may be asked to complete a motorway theory paper before we commence\, so remember to read up on your Highway Code before the event! Motorway Driving is open to grade 3\, 2\, 1 and X members. \nOops! We could not locate your form.

SUMMARY:Driving at Berkeley (Pathfinder Shared Event)
DESCRIPTION:This event will be a shared event with Pathfinder\, which is running a five-day course there over half-term. We’ll join the 36 Pathfinder Students on their “day 5”. The day will kick off with a 9am briefing\, and is limited to 50 U17CC members. Registration will open as usual via the normal registration page. \nThe catering will be open as it was for our last event on 16th May\, and whilst there will be instruction offered\, lots of the instructors will be supporting the Pathfinder events so the numbers may be limited compared to usual. \nIf you don’t know much about Pathfinder\, check out the website!
