DESCRIPTION:You won’t regret taking the morning out to learn how to handle a car in low grip circumstances. At the skid pan course\, you’ll learn what it feels like to skid in both front- and rear-wheel drive vehicles\, and what to do in the event of a skid. \nIt’s a great half-day session held at the DriveTech facility at Castle Combe. It is a realistic and effective process of learning Skid Control techniques and the ideal safe environment to improve your driving skills in low grip conditions. The courses are great fun – and DriveTech experts will show you how to react to adverse conditions and put you back in control! \nAttending a Skid Pan course is mandatory for Club members to take part in Advanced Driving – so as a Grade 3 rising towards Grade 2 you should consider booking on. This is why we subsidise Members taking part by 50% – the price is £55 for Members. Spaces are available for Associates\, too\, at the standard rate of £110. \nOnce you have booked a space\, you’ll get further joining instructions about 2 weeks before the course.  At the moment this also includes a link to an additional registration that DriveTech have implemented as part of their COVID mitigations.
