Dear Members, Associates and Volunteers,
I am pleased to be able to share with you our schedule for the 2021 season, and we can all start to get excited again. With the UK expected to remain in lockdown until the end of March, we are going to hold our first event on Sunday 4th April, Easter weekend. Should conditions allow us to run events earlier, then we will do all we can to bring the start of the season forward.
You can view the events schedule. Please understand that it is very likely that there will be some movement in this schedule, as venues re-plan following the exit of lockdown. As in 2020, I fully expect a packed schedule of events again, however dates may be moved, added, or venues changed.
Volunteering to help the Club in 2021
When I last wrote to you on 14th January, I asked you to consider giving some of your time to help in 2021. We have a wide variety of roles that we need help with. We would benefit from a multitude of skills and experiences, from marketing, organisation, IT, welcoming, teaching, administering and more.
Please remember that every single individual running the Club is an unpaid volunteer. We are all parents of children who enjoyed the Club, and we all took the brave step of volunteering to learn, and to help. If you feel you can, please reach out to me, or anyone else at the Club, and we can discuss further.
