Sunday, Tony Wright hosted our Castle Combe event: thanks to Tony & team for a great day, the weather behaved, the Open Day went very well with six new members, the last three for this year (they were booked for our cancelled Bov event) & three signed for next season. The rest of our Open Days will be for the 2018 season. We had seven upgrades, a well deserved G1 award for Nat Carter & congratulations to Joe Hagan, awarded his IAM F1RST! Nat managed to get Andrew P & Terry fighting over whether he should get the keys to the Golf R or the Focus St, & when Joe ‘s success was announced, he was celebrating under the Golden Arches in Chippenham…dodging the photo with Terry, surely not…! We also had a First Aid course running, thanks to Jacqui for that & quick reminder, it’s a G2 requirement that you either have attended one of our First Aid courses, or have proof you have a similar qualification elsewhere. please spread the word to let Jacqui know you need one, as the spaces go very quickly! We have a lot of new members this year, who we hope will stay with us next, so courses like First Aid are going to fill up, we may need to consider extras.
